The Willingham Theater is the only performance theater in Yadkin County. The doors to the theater opened to an enthusiastic crowd on December 1st, 2012 after six years of planning and fund-raising.
The theater meets ADA requirements. It is equipped with assisted listening devices for the hearing impaired and special seating for people in wheelchairs
The 193- seat state-of-the-art theater showcases live music, drama, dance performances, movies, community theater and children's theater.

June 9, Sunday at 3:00 pm: The Last Magic Show. $5
When an old fashioned magician of the 1920s finds himself in a rivalry with a younger, successful magician, he discovers his potential for “real magic”. Will he be tempted to use his newfound power in their final showoff? Find out in the amazing spectacular, The Last Magic Show, a brand new play by Steven Kopp, written exclusively for Peppercorn Children’s Theatre’s 2013 Summer Season.

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter David Holt is considered a state treasure. At this performance he is joined by Will McIntyre on bass.

Live performance tickets will be mailed if ordered two weeks or more before the performance date.
Tickets may also be picked up at the YARD Gift Shop at the Center or at Will Call one hour before the show.
Movie tickets are not available for purchase on line but may be purchased at the YARD Gift Shop on the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center plaza and at the door.

Summer Theater Camp directed by Vicky Town will produce the award-winning musical "HONK, Jr.", on July 27 and July 28 in the Willingham Theater. All afternoon summer camp students (ages 10 - 17) will be in the play.
