We invite you.....to join us as an investor in Phase II of the capital campaign to "Raise the Curtain" on the performing arts theater.
Phase I of YCAC is complete....the classrooms, gallery, staff offices, cafe, kitchen, plaza, outdoor performance stage and stroll way are open. The artist studios, YARD, are open. All that remains is completion of the theater's interior.
Phase II - the theater.....will host Friday night family movies, blue grass concerts, plays, musical performances, and more. It will be the only performance theater in Yadkin County.
The achievement of Raise the Curtain's campaign goal of $852,000.....will open the doors and raise the curtain on the theater.
$2.2 million dollars has been raised.... since the capital campaign began in 2006, which allowed us to open Phase I. We are at 40% of our goal of $852,000 for Phase II.
Local sub-contractors are employed to build the Theater, designed by Kevin Marion of Fuller Architecture, Mocksville.
Your donation....helps provide a new stage for the creative voice of the entire community and to help fuel the movement toward economic redevelopment in our region.
Campaign Update
The Yadkin Arts Council gratefully acknowledges the generosity of individual donors, corporations and foundations for helping us reach our Phase I goal of $2.2 million and open the doors to the Center. The campaign has moved into Phase II - "Raise the Curtain"- with a goal of $852,000 for completion of the performing arts theater.
