Capital Campaign - Got Brick?

Join Us

We invite you.....to join us as an investor in the campaign.  Funding the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center adds fuel to the movement toward economic prosperity while filling an artistic voice and feeding the creative spirit of the entire community.

To achieve our goal.....of $2.75 million, a strategic multi-year plan for the renovation and completion of The Yadkin Cultural Arts Center was unanimously approved by the Arts Council board in April, 2006. We are well on our way towards achieving our goal.

Community support.....has increased 28% over the past two years..

Our architect of record.....Fuller Architecture of Mocksville designed the Cultural Center and local sub-contractors have been hired to build the Center.

Mayor Hubert Gregory

Buy A Brick -

The public giving phase of the campaign, nicknamed "Got Brick" kicked off in May. Brick by brick, the YAC community is building the Cultural Center. We are thrilled to report that already we have raised $425,000.

Consider purchasing a brick paver, a granite block for the patio, or a theater seat...or a combination of blocks and seats. Any donation of $100 or more includes a "Got Brick?" embroidered cap! Caps are also available for purchase at all YAC events.

  • Brick Pavers - $50 each
  • Granite Blocks -$200 each
  • Theater Seats - $350 each

Named Gift Opportunities

The Capital Campaign offers eight named giving opportunities, from the Cultural Center itself to each of three classrooms.

Imagine..... a performing arts theater filled with joyous laughter and applause.....named after your family or loved one.

Imagine.....a sun-filled classroom....named in memory of your beloved grandmother, filled with wide-eyed elementary students listening raptly to the dynamic storyteller from Alamance County.

Please contact the Lead Gifts Co-Chairs or the Arts Council to discuss giving opportunties.
