Groundbreaking Ceremony for Yadkin Cultural Arts Center

Over 150 supporters turned out for Wine, Cheese and A Wrecking Ball, our groundbreaking celebration for the beginning of demolition and reconstruction of the current Arts Council building at 226 E. Main in downtown Yadkinville.

Opening remarks by Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, Board President John Willingham and Surry Community College President Deborah Friedman, complimentary wine from Sanders Ridge Vineyard and Winery and the writing on the wall of hopes, dreams and wishes for the Center put everyone in a festive, anticipatory mood.
