About The Yadkin Arts Council

The Yadkin Arts Council was founded in 1975 as a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation in Yadkin County.

Our mission: To enrich the lives of every citizen of Yadkin County through a broad variety of arts programs that touch, inspire and involve creative spirits of all ages and all backgrounds.

We believe: Art is transformational. Arts open minds, frees imagination, and helps people see the world from different perspectives.

We are housed in: The Yadkin Cultural Arts Center, downtown Yadkinville. After a year-long renovation, the Center opened on September 18th, 2010 in concert with the Arts Council-sponsored Yadkin Valley Harvest Festival.
