ART CLASS – Watercolor Techniques with Sam Stitcher – Wednesday, December 6 (2-5pm) – $45 ($40 for Artist Members)

This watercolor workshop for novice and experienced watercolor artists will explore different watercolor techniques such as Masking methods, Lifting techniques, Use of gouache to highlight, Spattering, How to create sense of distance, How to create Shadows, Ink and Wash techniques, How to paint winter scenes and snow, How to paint clouds, and Ways to help improve drawing techniques.

All Materials and Supplies will be provided with the cost of this class, but feel free to bring any supplies you may already have to test out in class. This include: your own brushes and supplies such as paints, masking fluid, masking tape, pens, pencils, craft knife, etc. 

DATE & TIME: Wednesday, December 6 (2-5pm)

LOCATION: Yadkin Cultural Arts Center (226 E. Main Street, Yadkinville, NC) – Studio E & F on the Cultural Arts Center Plaza (Street Parking available on Main Street / Public Parking lot is located on Elm Street)

CLASS FEE: Yadkin Arts Council Members:  $40   Non-Members $45 (Artist Members should call Savana at 336-677-1578 to register with their $5 discount)

AGES: 17 & up only

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Novice or Experienced Artists only. This class is not suitable for new or inexperienced artists.
