AUDITION DATES / TIMES:

Friday, May 16th from 6pm – 8:30pm

Saturday, May 17th from 10am – 12:30pm

AUDITION LOCATION: Willingham Performing Arts Academy (221 E Main St. Yadkinville, NC 27055)

CALLBACKS: Sunday, May 18th from 2-4pm @ WPAA

*** Must be in 6th grade or above to audition. Actors auditioning for the role of “Fletcher Blake” must be at least 10 years old ***

This is not JUST a youth production- it’s a true COMMUNITY production and there are MANY roles available for adults!

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Please prepare 1-minute of a music theatre song to perform at your audition. Bring sheet music for our accompanist or have a karaoke track prepared to sing along with.

You do not need to prepare a monologue. You may be asked to read from the script. At your audition, you will learn a short dance combination as a group so please wear comfortable clothes you can move in.

Please review our “Audition Packet” then fill out an “Audition Form” to register for an audition time. The audition packet contains helpful information related to auditions including: Dates, times, character descriptions, audition requirements, and all of our YAC / WPAA show rules and regulations.

*** If you are unable to attend either of our audition days in person, you can submit a virtual audition video via email to charlie@yadkinarts.org by 12:30pm on Saturday, May 17th. Virtual audition videos should feature you singing 1-minute of a musical theater song either a capella or with a karaoke track. Please fill out an “Audition Form” even if you are submitting a virtual audition ***
