SMALL WATERCOLOR PAINTING TECHNIQUES with Sam Stitcher (Thursday, April 13, 2023 / 2-4pm)

This is a workshop to explore techniques, methods, topics and applications for watercolor paintings in sizes from 3×5 to 5×7. This size painting is great for Christmas, birthday, and other greeting cards. Also, it is good for tabletop paintings or where small paintings are good for walls. We will work in line and wash, loose, and other styles. Students will be able to follow the instructor who will use a camera that projects on a large flat screen in the work room. Paper, ink, brushes, and other supplies will be supplied. A minimum knowledge of watercolor painting is recommended, but not required. If students have watercolor brushes and paint, ink pens, or other supplies, they are welcome to bring them.
