PERMITTING: ALL FOOD VENDORS are subject to Yadkin County NC inspection requirements, regardless of profit/non-profit status, or non-hazardous food vendors. For accountability and trace back purposes, you must fill out an application for a temporary food permit and if applicable, make a fee payment to the local Health Department. Some vendors may qualify for an exemption, but you still must process an application if only to qualify for the exemption (The only exceptions to this application requirement are food trucks who are already registered in Yadkin County and have current paperwork on file at the Health Department)..... In addition to filling out an application, all food trucks or mobile food carts that are not registered in Yadkin County must include a copy of your permit with the application. Please reach out prior to registering as a vendor with any questions or concerns with this policy. **Please indicate below that you have read and understand this policy***
List a brief description of types of foods for sale*
Food Vendor spots will be assigned a general location in advance, exact placement is dependent on arrival times for each vendor. Please indicate below what time on the day of the festival you are planning on arriving to set up. All Food Vendors must arrive prior to the streets closing at 9am (by 8:30am prefferably) and must be open for business by the festival start time at 10am.*
Attention Food Trucks: Please indicate the total amount of space your truck will need (from bumper to bumper as well as any add-ons such as a tow cleat or generator holder). Food Truck spaces are 30' x 10' (width x depth). Any food trailers that are being hauled in by a vehicle will need to unhook their vehicle once they arrive. Please note that our food truck spaces are parallel to the curb and do not have much buffer room for oversized vendors. Additional space can be purchased to accommodate extra room if needed. Food truck spaces will be assigned general locations (example - food area A, B, or C) but depending on the arrival of each truck, we may need to adjust up a space or down a space so that everyone is able to park as easily as possible.*
*Electricity Requirement* -- Please discuss your needs with the Yadkin Arts Council staff before applying to be a vendor. If you have been approved for an electrical spot, please specify what size plugs you will be using along with how many outlets you require. Please note that electrical outlets for food vendors are limited and locations are based on access to these outlets - we will do our best to accommodate everyone's needs but please be prepared to bring a generator if electricity is not available for your truck. If this is not applicable to your application please put "do not need electricity"*

*Attention All Food Vendors: Please call 336-679-2941 before you apply to avoid duplications of types of food being served at our festival. The Yadkin Arts Council reserves the right to approve all applications to avoid duplications.

PERMITTING: ALL FOOD VENDORS are subject to Yadkin County NC inspection requirements, regardless of profit/non-profit status. Some vendors may qualify for an exemption, BUT YOU STILL MUST PROCESS AN APPLICATION IF ONLY TO QUALIFY FOR THE EXEMPTION. If you already have a NC permit for a mobile food cart or a push cart, you must include a copy of your permit with your temporary food permit application.

The Deadline to get your application in to the Yadkin Arts Council and the Health Department is AUGUST 1st. If you have any questions regarding the permit application process, contact the Yadkin County Health Department at 336-679-4244.

*Please note that no Food Vendors will be assigned booth space until we have received notification from the Health Department that you have been issued either your exemption or temporary permit.
