Art Camp

June 26 through June 30
Ages 6 to 8 – $40 (9 to 11:30 a.m. daily)
Ages 9 to 13 – $50 (1 to 4 p.m. daily)

Your child will be immersed in the world of arts for five days at the Arts Council. Campers will get the opportunity to draw, paint, use pastels, create mixed media, sculpt and more! The camp is led by Andrea Raines, Starmount High School art teacher.

Littles in the Lights Drama Camp

Ages 4 to 6
June 26 through June 30
Meets daily 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
$50 per camper

Budding young performers are invited to be part of a one week drama experience.  Each day students will create characters and bring stories to life through dialogue, movement, expression and song. Students will present their work in a free showcase of The Day the Crayons Quit on June 30.

Littles in the Light Drama Camp

Spotlight Youth Theater Drama Camp

Ages 4 to 26
July 3 through July 28
Meets weekdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
$75 per camper
Deadline May 21

Experienced performers and novices to the stage are invited to “Be Our Guest” as we stage the classic musical, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”. Our cast of campers will work on set, costumes,choreography, vocal quality and stage ensemble performance skills. Public performances of the show are scheduled for July 28, July 29, July 30.

Spotlight Youth Theater Drama Camp

    Spotlight Youth Theater Drama Camp is for individuals ages 4 to 26.

Music Camp

July 31 through August 4
Grades K-2: 8:30 – 10 a.m. daily – $40
Grades 3-5: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. daily – $50
Grades 6-8: 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Daily – $50

Campers will be whisked away by music in this week-long experience led by Yadkin County Schools music teacher Anna Peterson. All campers will participate in movement and singing. Third through fifth graders will learn to play the recorder and sixth through eighth graders will learn to play the ukulele. Camp will end in a performance in the theater on August 4.
